In 2012, after leaving a 12-year desk job as a designer to pursue his entrepreneurial dream, my father Juan Latorre printed exactly 100 front and back flyers; advertising himself as a freelance architect. Eager to begin his journey, he mailed the flyers out to a 100 people and waited for weeks with high hopes that this was the beginning of something great. He waited patiently and after a few weeks came to a painful realization; no one responded. It broke my heart to see that and in that moment, I realized what he needed; a business partner. I took him to our favorite ice cream spot to cheer him up, put my arm around him and on that day decided that he would not go through this journey alone. We would do it together.

Today, after years of planning, perseverance and determination, we can proudly say that we have successfully produced over a 1,000,000 square feet of architectural design and three-dimensional renderings on projects that were once only a dream. Accompanied with an ever-growing team of architects and designers that continues to grow and expand, our team’s capability increases each and every day. We have turned those 100 flyers into a fully functioning company built on ethics, hard-work, and passion for design.

I am grateful for my father as a business partner for his astounding 30 years of experience in architecture and construction. Together, we make an incredible duo. He is the artist and director behind our work, and I am the driving force that ensures our company continues to grow and deliver the highest quality work. This is our passion. There is nothing we love more than what we have built together and the positive responses from the people that are impacted by our work; directly and indirectly. This is a story of a father and a son. A story of perseverance. A story about never giving up on your dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem. This is only the beggining.
